Center for Gifted Studies at WKU

I was the  Summer Photography Intern for 2019 at the Center for Gifted Studies at WKU. The CFGS holds camps for students of all ages, as well as several professional development seminars and programs. Housed within the same office is the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children, who I also worked with throughout the summer.  Scroll below to see a selection of my work from my time with the institution.

The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children Biennial World Conference was held in Nashville during the summer of 2019. Through the internship I covered the week-long event with video and stills.

The annual Summer Program for Verbally and Mathematically Precocious Youth (VAMPY) at the WKU Center for Gifted Studies takes place every summer and gifted students from all across the country come together to learn and grow for three weeks on Western Kentucky University's campus in Bowling Green, Ky.

The Summer Camp for Academically Talented Middle School Students (SCATS) at the Center for Gifted Studies at WKU is an annual summer camp for gifted middle school students. Students from around the region and country come to Western Kentucky University's campus for two weeks to grow together academically and socially.
